As one of the top care homes in Bournemouth, we’re proud to put our residents at the heart of everything we do. Our trained and dedicated care team are on hand 24 hours a day to help. When you first arrive at Glenhurst Manor a personal care plan will be prepared, tailored to your individual needs. We work closely with our local GP surgeries and their district nurses to ensure the highest level of medical care, and we also have regular visits from other practitioners such as chiropodists, dentists and opticians.
Glenhurst Manor is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and works within the Gold Standards Framework to provide exceptional end of life care having been awarded the highest accolade of ‘Platinum’.
Caring for you
Our residents are at the heart of our care planning enabling us to meet individual needs.
As a residential care home, we are able to offer permanent or short-term stays depending on what you need. Whether it’s a shorter stay to recover from an operation or illness, to give your carer a break, or you’re looking for more comprehensive care, we can help. As some people may find the decision to move into a care home daunting or unsettling, a trial stay can be a good way to introduce the process, treating it like a holiday. Whatever the reasons for your stay, our trained and dedicated team will support you at every stage.
We want everyone to feel comfortable at Glenhurst Manor so we’re committed to helping people settle in, connecting residents with one another and encouraging everyone to make full use of the facilities on offer; a care home near the sea with relaxing views, outstanding quality care, companionship, excellent food and impeccable service awaits.
Our all-inclusive rates start from £995 per week.
A peaceful, private environment for you to enjoy. Relax in our beautiful gardens or stroll to the cliff top.
Respite care is necessary as although caring for a relative is rewarding, a break is also essential so that you can re-charge your batteries and renew that positive outlook. We offer short-term stays for the one you are caring for and would be delighted to discuss the care you would like us to provide so you can have peace of mind and enjoy that well-earned rest.
As our guest, the person you care for will be helped to settle in and enjoy the company of the other residents as well as being encouraged to make full use of the facilities that Glenhurst Manor offers; a premier care home with sea views, outstanding quality care, companionship, excellent food and impeccable service awaits.
Our all-inclusive rates start from just £895 per week.

I started working at Glenhurst Manor in 2013, moving to Senior HCA in 2015 and I have been Manager since 2017. I love my job and I’m proud to lead such a highly committed, kind and compassionate team. I’m registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and hold an NVQ 5 in Health and Social Care Management. My proudest achievement was achieving Platinum status for Gold Standard Framework (GSF) for both Glenhurst Manor and our sister home, Spetisbury Manor.
